Water Lessons at Cape Elizabeth Middle School

This month, the District Educator visited Cape Elizabeth Middle School to share lessons about water with the 6th grade classes. The activities, developed by the Portland Water District, demonstrate the importance of healthy water and how humans impact water quality. Over the past few weeks, students observed water samples, used models of watersheds, and designed solutions to reduce water pollution.

This program was paid for by the Portland Water District. To continue our educational programming, we need your support. Residents and businesses can sponsor our education program to help ensure natural resources education continues in Maine.
